About The Project For Schools

Welcome

The education sector has a vital role to play in raising awareness about the importance of rainforests in stopping climate change. To support schools in this role, The Prince’s Rainforests Project (PRP) created this Schools website.

Aimed at children, parents and teachers of children aged 3 to 16, the website includes a range of free resources such as lesson ideas, assembly ideas, fun games and activities, and short videos. There is an area where schools and teachers from around the world can share new ideas for lesson ideas and showcase their students’ work.

The lesson ideas we have created are compatible with the UK national curriculum; however, they can be used whichever country you’re in!  In collaboration with the Rainforest Alliance, we also provide resources and links specific to the US curriculum.
