Rainforest Pass the Parcel

• A parcel layered with sweets and forfeits
• A suitable prize at the centre
• Music

Activity:

Children sit in a circle and pass the parcel. When the music stops children unwrap a layer and perform the forfeit, for example:

• Roar like a howler monkey
• Run round the circle as fast as a jaguar
• Hop round the circle like a poison-dart frog
• Make the noise of a bat

Play continues until the prize has been won.
