Children are asked to draw, paint or collage an image which represents what the rainforest means to them.
The examples show one beautiful picture of the rainforest and one that shows a damaged rainforest.
Ask children to think about the messages they would like to put on the calenders. The messages will teach others about protecting the environment and how important it is to their future.
As an extension your group could create a calender on animals under threat in the rainforest or climate change.
